The Snores, a rock band of English Bulldogs, are surprisingly soulful despite their gruff exterior. Led by Max, whose gravelly voice sounds like he’s been barking for food all night, they blend deep, rumbling vocals with slow, powerful riffs that tug at the heartstrings. Their debut album, “Heavy Sleep,” features tracks like “Running In My Mind” and “Love You With All My Folds,” proving that even with a face that looks like it’s permanently napping, they’ve got an emotional depth that would make a teddy bear jealous.
